Alex Hunter

Alex Hunter was the first child in his school year to be given an adult library card. He borrowed The Rats by James Herbert, and began to dream of giving other people nightmares.

His short stories have appeared in numerous anthologies alongside some of today’s most exciting voices in horror.

His debut novel, The Harvest (2025), became an Amazon bestseller. His second novel, The House That Screamed, was released in 2026. His third novel, the folk-horror The Forest Remembers, will be published in 2027.

Based in the UK, he is working on new novels in the company of too many books and not enough daylight.
