Ankur Agarwal

Ankur Agarwal is a seasoned technologist, author, and entrepreneur with over two and a half decades of global experience in designing and implementing complex IT systems across industries such as private equity, insurance, travel, media, and telecom. He co-founded PE Front Office, where he serves as the Chief Technology Officer, spearheading innovation in enterprise solutions for the Alternative Investments domain.

Ankur is the author of several publications, including his latest book, Alternative Investments Technology: Bridging the Gap (Routledge, 2024). This book explores the evolving role of technology in enhancing management and investment processes, helping firms maintain competitive advantage and operational efficiency. The book provides insights into leveraging technology for better decision-making, improved efficiency, and enhanced investor outcomes.

In 2013, Ankur authored Enterprise Technology in Private Equity, published by PEI Media, which offers strategic IT solutions for planning, designing and executing business transformation programs. His articles on enterprise architecture and alternative investments technology have been widely read and recognized in industry circles.

Demonstrating his versatility, Ankur ventured into Hindi literature with Adyakshar, a collection of poems exploring the theme of unrequited love. Published in 2020, the book has been praised for its emotional depth and relatable portrayal of love and longing.

Ankur holds a TOGAF certification, demonstrating his expertise in enterprise architecture and his ability to align IT strategies with business objectives. His global experience includes leading projects and teams across continents, equipping him with a comprehensive and diverse perspective.

Ankur holds an engineering degree from the Birla Institute of Technology and has a strong background in entrepreneurship. He currently resides in Gurugram, India. Beyond his professional pursuits, he finds joy in playing the harmonica and flute as a hobby.
