Rabbi Andrew Bloom was born in New Jersey and made Aliyah at nineteen, serving in the Israel Defense Forces. He later earned a B.Ed. from Seminar Hakibutzim and received rabbinic ordination and a master’s degree from the Schechter Institute of Rabbinic Studies.
Serving the Fort Worth, Texas community, he is a spiritual leader and civic bridge-builder. He co-chaired the Fort Worth Task Force on Race and Culture, serves on civic boards including the Mayor’s Faith-Based Cabinet, co-founded Cowtown Clergy, and was recognized as one of the 400 most influential people in Fort Worth.
Rabbi Bloom is the author of Two Minutes of Tradition: Torah and Life Lessons for People on the Go, Technology and Theology: How AI Is Impacting Religion, and The Ten Commandments of Ethical AI. A sought-after speaker and advisor, he helps organizations, nonprofits, and civic leaders navigate ethical leadership, institutional trust, and the responsible use of artificial intelligence.
He is married to Michal, and together they have three children, Daniel, Maya, and Lia.
