CJ Rizk is a USA Today bestselling and award-winning author of The Healer and writes under a few different pen names within the romance genre. You can find her sweet romantic comedies of the billionaire variety under the pen name Cynthia Savage, her super steamy scifi romances under the pen name Angelina Avery, and her teen and young adult romantasies under the pen name C. J. Anaya. She holds an AA in Criminal Justice, a BA in Communication, and an MA in Creative Writing/Publishing. When she isn't writing, she's coaching other authors on the book production process and best paths for publishing.

Her personal life can best be described as a mix between the rebooted TV series One Day at a Time and Dog with a Blog. Her awesome hubby makes sure she is always fed, while her four fabulous kiddos do a great job of taking care of the family dogs.
