Zarin Buckingham

Zarin Buckingham has pursued her studies and professional work across a wide range of global locations, including Alaska, Austria, Germany, Iran, Slovakia, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the United States, and the Portuguese island of Madeira. She holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and an MBA in International Business.

Zarin wrote The Madeira Handbook to offer essential guidance to individuals considering or preparing for relocation to Madeira. The book grew out of her own experiences settling on the island, where misleading information and the complexity of local bureaucracy highlighted the need for a clear, trustworthy resource.

Professionally, Buckingham has worked as a consultant in educational leadership and business development. Personally, she enjoys writing, traveling, mentoring young entrepreneurs, music, and appreciating the natural beauty of Madeira.
