My life has been marked by profound learning about resilience and emotional care. I have lived with the challenges of mental health since childhood, in an environment where the complexities of the human mind have always been present. As the son of a mother diagnosed with Bipolar Affective Disorder and the brother of someone who also suffered from this condition, but who unfortunately lost her emotional battle, I have intensely experienced the distressing conflicts that these circumstances bring to people and their families.

My own psychosomatic experience with Panic Disorder was a solitary journey of anxiety, self-knowledge and overcoming that included comprehensive treatment: psychiatric, psychotherapy and a balanced diet to restore mental health. These deeply impactful experiences awakened the motivation to seek knowledge, better understand the depth of the mind, brain functions and strategies to promote emotional well-being and share with others, reinforcing the conviction that care, empathy and knowledge can transform lives.

Based on my experiences, a clear and accessible approach, the book provides valuable information based on scientific research and real experiences, with the aim of inspiring people to take care of themselves in an integrative way, seeking balance between body, mind and emotions, considering, in addition to specialized medical treatments and the practice of physical exercises, nutrition as a powerful ally and its transformative impact in the search for improved mental health, encouraging readers to understand how food affects the brain, emotions and quality of life and how conscious and informed food choices can favor mood, cognition and emotional well-being.
