Where does one get their inspiration to write? Some draw from past experiences, others draw from local and worldly events. Then there are ones own dreams, interests, and strong imagation.

My inspiration comes from different places. But the one thing that got me through a difficult childhood of abuse and bullying, my fantasy world. It was the only thing that kept me from falling apart. That was until Junior High, when my English Composition recieved an A, and my teacher encouraged me to keep writing. I believe that inspiration to write had always been in me, I just needed that push to bring it to the surface.

Since then I have used that form of art for a source of comfort and strength. No more do I have to lock away that pain and shame of being different.

Now. I don't believe having a fantasy world is required to write good fantasy fiction, but it certainly doesn't hurt. I have learned in order to be a good author, is to keep writing.
