Born in 1958, I have spent my entire career as a self-employed worker. Initially director of an international association for cultural and epistolary exchanges, I retrained in 1999 as a horse racing columnist, managing my own publications and subscriptions.
Since my childhood, writing has been a passion and an outlet. The meeting with a French teacher in the 6th grade, at the age of eleven, was the trigger, at the time poetry. As a teenager, in the midst of an existential crisis, I immersed myself body and soul in writing.
The professional career has extinguished this game, or rather relegated it to the background. However, my various professional activities have always been indirect activities of writing.
I have lived since 1993 in Barcarès, in the Pyrénées Orientales. Roussillon, my adopted region, rocks my daily life. Born in Madagascar, where my father worked, I spent all my youth in Le Havre before migrating to Paris at the age of 22, then to La Rochelle. In search of roots, I found them here, artificial of course but fully fulfilling.
Married since 1987 to a pure Parisian, painter, father of two teacher children, two (and soon three) grandsons, I am a man attached to nature and daydreaming, in love with psychological themes where human interactions are the central cogs of the plots.
In 2023, when the retirement sounded, the passion had its backlash and since then, every day, assiduously, I devote myself to it with relish.
