Danielle C. Hogan

Danielle Hogan [she/her] is a Canadian visual artist and writer. Of Irish, Italian and French settler ancestry, Danielle lives as a guest on the unceded and unsurrendered territory of the Wabanaki Peoples.

Danielle studied at New Brunswick College of Craft and Design, Emily Carr University in Vancouver and, at the University of Victoria before earning her PhD in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of New Brunswick were she was named the Dr. William S. Lewis Doctoral Fellow.

Her dissertation, ‘Just Making It: the stain of femaffect on fiber in art,’ investigates the negative effects of femaffect on textiles in art.
