Abigail Lorenzo, who goes by Abi, is an author who has always been drawn to stories that feel real and a little strange. She enjoys things that stand out, like unique art, old films, and even taxidermy. She loves animals deeply and sees creativity as a way to give things new meaning, even after life ends. The Girl Beneath the Pines is her debut mystery novel and her first time writing in the thriller genre, a story that reflects how she sees the world through her character RJ. Abi is the type of person who tries many hobbies but always comes back to words. She believes everyone has a creative side and that art, music, baking, and writing can all be their own kind of therapy. She doesn’t think you always need to talk to someone to heal sometimes creating or expressing yourself can do just as much.
