Jason Powers

J.L. Powers (Jason Powers) is a father of five, originally from West Palm Beach, Florida, now residing in Knoxville, Tennessee. With a 27-year career as a graphic designer and web developer, Jason has always been passionate about creativity and storytelling. Now shifting his focus to writing, he is crafting engaging science fiction for young readers.

Jason is the author of I Was a Teenage Android, the first installment in his new anthology series, Glitches, aimed at readers ages 10–15. The series explores imaginative tales of technology, identity, and adventure, designed to inspire and entertain the next generation of sci-fi enthusiasts.

When he’s not writing or brainstorming new ideas, Jason enjoys spending time with his kids, exploring the outdoors, and geeking out over all things sci-fi.
