Katrin Gilbert

Katrin Gilbert studied viola with Walter Trampler of New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, US and with Alfred Loeffler of California State University. She has performed in the past with The Hollywood Bowl Institute Orchestra, The Disney All American College Orchestra, The Augusta, Georgia Symphony Orchestra, The Symphonic Orchestra of the Baleares in Mallorca, The Virtuosi of Santa Cecilia in Rome, and the Orchestra Haydn in Bozen. She has freelanced with quartets and chamber orchestras in the UK. Katrin currently teaches viola at Kings High of Warwick Schools Foundation, and violin and viola at Bablake School and Crackley Hall School. She has written three books of duet arrangements and is working on a new book of viola and piano compositions.
