My Silly Kids series of cheeky rhyming tales for 4-7 year olds come from a lifelong love of poetic rhythm and making people laugh. I've written poems and stories on all kinds of silly and serious topics (through my poeticalmoss alter ego) but there's nothing more uplifting than the infectious chuckling of children to raise the spirits. A love of reading is such an important first step to a love of learning and if the likes of Unruly Julie, Clever Trevor and my other silly characters can ignite that spark, they are doing their job.
