Peg Dunn-Snow, PhD, LPAT, LMHC, ATR-BC, is an art therapy and mental health counselor with post-graduate training in trauma and sandtray therapies. She has authored and co-authored several articles and has given numerous workshop presentations and keynote addresses in the United States and abroad on art therapy with children and adolescents. Dr. Dunn-Snow is the former director of the graduate art therapy program at Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida and a former faculty member with the graduate art therapy training program at Saint-Mary-of-the-Woods College in Terre Haute, Indiana. She has been in private practice since 2004 as the owner of Children's Corner: Art Therapy for Children in South Florida, specializing in working with children of military families.
In 2014, Dr Dunn-Snow introduced the profession of art therapy to students, faculty, and the community at-large through a series of workshops while working at the University of Akureyri in Iceland as a Senior Fulbright Scholarship recipient. She has also served as the conference chair, and president of the American Art Therapy Association and the Florida Art Therapy Association.
