Sequoia Bruce

Sequoia is a American author and native Texan with a diverse background. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a Master's in Clinical Psychology. Sequoia was a therapist for 10 years graduating with her Master's at the age of 23. Sequoia realized that she had a gift from God that she tried to ignore most of her life. Sequoia has an extensive history working with adults and children in a therapeutic setting. Her entire life people told her she worked well with children. Her favorite professor Dr. Charles Keenan stated, "Sequoia I think your specialization will be working with children." "You're very good at it." Sequoia's intention were not to work with children but soon realized that God's plans for her to do that very thing. Eventually, she began to love working with children but quickly realized it was emotionally taxing. It was very hard for her to disconnect from her job and her work followed her on the clock and off. After she bared all she could she decided to pursue other paths. Sequoia has her real estate license, mortgage license, and small business. During her youth she grew up in a salon that her grandparents Alec and Rita Woods established in 1970 that she currently owns today. Sequoia participated in the cotillion, debutante, and the Miss Teen Texas pageant. She loves to travel, meet new people, and ceases any opportunity to learn something.
