Crystal Wagner

On the evening of October 15, 2011, Crystal Wagner went into labor just days before her due date. After arriving at the hospital, nurses quickly made preparations but struggled to find a heartbeat. After performing an ultrasound, fears were confirmed. The baby's heart had stopped beating. At 5:30 a.m. on October 16, 2011, Crystal and her husband, Shawn gave birth to a stillborn son, Blake. He was perfect in every way. The next day, they left the hospital empty in every sense of the word. In the days and years following, they found comfort in God's word. Through His word, He speaks to mothers and families who have experienced this loss. Crystal authored this book as a devotional of comfort and hope for those suffering from miscarriage, stillbirth and infant loss. It all started with a simple card attached to some flowers sent to Blake's funeral that read "Prayers for your family. We know that Blake is in Heaven. Mark 10:14"
