Paul Zieske brings 34 years of experience in designing and building complex systems across aviation, automotive, banking, retail, and healthcare industries. His career journey began at Westinghouse's Air Traffic Control radar division before joining the FAA, where he pioneered a groundbreaking weather camera system accessible via the Internet in 1998.
During the Internet boom, Paul helped major brands establish their first online presence at MarchFIRST. His path then led to healthcare, where he combined his air traffic control background with emerging location services technology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. This fusion resulted in NavvTrack, an innovative indoor traffic control system for hospitals.
Recognizing the transformative potential of this approach, Paul developed the concept of Care Traffic Control and founded Why Where Matters to educate others about this revolutionary approach to healthcare operations.
Beyond his professional achievements, Paul is an accomplished endurance athlete, having completed seven Ironman competitions and five Boston Marathons. He lives with his wife and their three Great Danes, finding joy in both the challenges of endurance sports and family life.
