Corey Barksdale

I’m Corey Barksdale, an artist, illustrator, and storyteller with a love for bold colors, rich culture, and creative expression. My work is inspired by history, community, and the vibrant energy of life itself. Whether I’m painting, designing, or writing, I aim to bring a unique perspective to everything I create.

I’ve always embraced being a little different—okay, maybe a lot different! I’m a bit eccentric, and I fully own it. Growing up, while most kids had dogs or cats, I had ducks as pets. Yep, real ducks. They waddled around, quacked at the right (and wrong) times, and were surprisingly great company. That love for the unexpected and unconventional has stuck with me and continues to influence my creative work.

When I’m not deep in my latest project, you’ll probably find me exploring new ideas, speaking at Toastmasters, or experimenting with new artistic techniques.
