Jayne Schriver

Through the years, I’ve written many poems and stories, and shared them with friends and family. As a teacher, I incorporated writing into my classroom, encouraging my students to not only develop this skill, but to enjoy it. I realized that they needed to see me as a writer. My experience in the Indiana Writing Project at Ball State University not only equipped me to better teach writing, but also to develop my skills as a writer. I was hooked! Writing became a passion then, and now, in my retirement.
