Won Jae Lee

Wonjae LEE

Dr. Wonjae Lee is a professor in the Department of Sport Industry and Leisure at Kookmin University in Seoul, Korea. With extensive experience across various organizations, he has served on the International Relations Commissions of both the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee (KSOC) and the Korea Paralympic Committee (KPC).

He was previously the Director of the Sport & Event Management Department at World Taekwondo (WT) and currently serves on the Executive Boards of the Korea Handball Federation (KHF) and the Korean Anti-Doping Agency (KADA). Additionally, Dr. Lee contributed his expertise as a member of the Marketing Expert Working Group for the 2018 PyeongChang Olympic & Paralympic Organizing Committee.

Dr. Lee holds a Ph.D. in Sport Management from Seoul National University, a Master of Advanced Studies in Sport Administration and Technology (MAS) from the Académie Internationale des Sciences et Techniques du Sport (AISTS), an MBA from Korea University, and a Bachelor’s in Sport Science from Seoul National University.

His diverse background in sports leadership, management, and education places him at the forefront of advancing the global sports industry.
