Jamani Spencer

Jamani Spencer is an athlete, coach, trainer, mentor, and author of two inspiring children's books—Mean Big Brother and Lil' Brown Boy. Born in Brooklyn, raised in Closter, and now based in Los Angeles, Jamani’s journey spans pro basketball in Mexico to joining the Harlem Globetrotters' 2025 World Tour as a Washington General. A business major with a love for math and science, he graduated from Sierra Canyon High School and studied at Brewster Academy, Pepperdine University, and Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He currently serves as Head of Partnerships at Crosscourt, where he continues to impact the sports world on and off the court. His books, first written as poems, celebrate family, confidence, and self-love—dedicated to his siblings and his mother. Through sport, service, and storytelling, Jamani is on a mission to uplift and inspire young minds everywhere.
