Jacinta Eke

JACINTA EKE grew up in Nigeria where she studied Mass Communication at the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT), Enugu, before pursuing a career in nursing. She trained as a nurse in The Gambia and later practiced in Trinidad and Tobago. Eventually, she moved to the United Kingdom where she has lived for over twelve years and has earned a BSc (Hons) in Nursing and Healthcare from Buckinghamshire New University and qualified as a Best Interests Assessor from Teesside University.

Currently working as a research nurse within the NHS, Jacinta brings a unique blend of compassion, insight, and lived experience to her storytelling. She is deeply committed to advocating for women’s rights, challenging traditions that suppress individuality, and inspiring others to pursue their dreams.

Beyond her professional and literary pursuits, Jacinta enjoys contributing to her community, spending time with her family and traveling.
