Father Paul Farren

Fr Paul Farren, a native of Clonmany, Co. Donegal, Ireland was ordained a priest for the diocese of Derry in 1997. He studied in Saint Patrick’s College, Maynooth and the Catholic University of America, Washington DC. He is director of the Derry Diocesan Catechetical Centre and rector at St. Eugene's Cathedral in Derry City. In 2006 he founded The Pope John Paul II Award enabling young people to take an active part in the life of the church and community. It is the largest catholic youth organization on the island of Ireland.
