Marshall Carroll

Marshall Carroll grew up in the rural area of Newark, Ohio. He spent his childhood involved in multiple extracurricular activities, including football, wrestling, baseball, and competitive dance in hip-hop and jazz at Patty’s Dance Center. Marshall studied advanced classes in high school, heavily favoring history at Licking Valley High School. Marshall developed an interest in guns and airsoft and formed his own airsoft club along with his friends who shared his interest. What had started as just a Saturday hobby, with only him and his close friends, grew to multiple participants from many locations. Eventually, there were so many participants, they were divided into two separate teams comprised of NATO and Rusfor. Marshall now participates in mass airsoft events with over a thousand participants across the United States. In addition to airsoft, Marshall has trained in several styles and forms of martial arts, including Brazilian Jui Jitsu, kickboxing, Muay Thai, Judo, Krav Maga, and even Iaido at Impact Family Martial Arts. This training is directly reflected in his writing, making the fight scenes have more realism and depth. Outside of extracurricular activities, Marshall is an avid gamer and anime fan. Some inspirations for his writing include his favorites games, Fallout New Vegas and Metal Gear Solid. Anime inspirations include Jobless Reincarnation, Gate, and Hunter x Hunter. Marshall has always been an animal lover, with a special affinity for cats. His current cats that comfort him in between his page writing and activities are Comet, Sage, Benny, Bonnie, and Clyde. Marshall is a middle child of three, with an older brother and younger sister. In the future, Marshall strives to improve his physique via cardio and weightlifting to assist his martial arts and airsoft activities. In addition, he seeks to expand this single novel into a series with a supportive community fanbase that eagerly awaits each release.
