This book is dedicated to and inspired by my late father-in-law, Edgar Linhares Lima, a Brazilian pioneer in educational reform whose passion for learning was as contagious as laughter in a kindergarten class. His vision planted a seed into a lifelong quest to revolutionize how we teach and learn.
This quest led me through the hallowed halls of the Vrije Universiteit of Brussels, where I earned my Master of Science in Economics, to the innovative classrooms of Amsterdam for a Master in Change Management, and finally to the sun-soaked campuses of UniAteneu in Brazil for a postgraduate degree in High and Remote Education. Each step was like adding a new color to my educational palette, broadening my perspective on what learning could be.
