Neil Tucker

I am an Australian educator, leader and lifelong learner. I have lived 40 years of my life in K-12 independent schools in 4 Australian states as teacher, Principal, Board chair and consultant; 10 years as a nfp CEO of adult community education; 30 years in tertiary learning. I have visited over 200 schools worldwide and c. 30 countries. I am passionate about human living and learning on the planet Earth.

My diverse studies include English language and literature, linguistics, social sciences, theology, management, education, psychotherapy and counselling, Christian theology and biblical studies, classical studies, philosophy.

My interests are people and relationships, cultures, national and international public affairs; sports (especially tennis, AFL, athletics); music, theatre, cinema, drama on TV; public speaking. I have not (yet) been a political activist.

I am presently working on 2 other books intended for publication in 2026-2027: Being and becoming a Head of school; Living in grace. I can be found on Google, Linked In and Research Gate.
