Paul Dutton

Paul Dutton, nicknamed "PD," grew up in the tiny town of Cave-In-Rock, Illinois—where there wasn’t even a stoplight and the population was only 300. I spent my days hunting, fishing, and exploring the outdoors, surrounded by animals like deer, owls, squirrels, snakes, and even the occasional eagle. Life was simple: fresh air, plenty of space, and no worries about getting into trouble—unless, of course, a golf ball happened to fly through a passing car!

I played my first nine holes of golf at a small course just minutes from the house where I grew up, learning golf manners and the importance of respecting the game. Growing up in a rural area, you never knew what forest animals might wander onto the course that day, turning them into unexpected hazards.

Now, I live in Paducah, Kentucky, where I still enjoy the woods on the farm, but I spend plenty of time on the golf course too. The challenges there are just as unpredictable as the animals I grew up with! My adventures on the course are always shared with good friends—and you should never trust a golfer who says, “I can find my golf ball quicker if you don’t help me!”
