Dr. Rushdan Noor

Dr. Rushdan Noor was a Senior Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist and Head of the Department of O&G, as well as a former Head of O&G Services at the Ministry of Health, Malaysia. He completed his medical training at the National University of Malaysia and obtained his postgraduate qualification in 1996. He pursued subspecialty training at the University of Malaya and KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital ,Singapore. With over 20 years of experience as a Consultant, Dr. Rushdan possessed extensive expertise in managing obstetric and gynaecological conditions. A Certified Gynaecological Oncologist, he also served as a Trainer for the Ministry of Health’s Gynae-Oncology subspecialty training program for 15 years. Additionally, he was an Honorary Lecturer in O&G at several local universities, including USM, UKM, and UM. Dr. Rushdan was the founder and Past President of the Malaysian Gynaecological Cancer Society and actively participated in numerous academic activities both locally and internationally. A prolific writer, he has authored 13 books covering topics in medicine, general obstetrics & gynaecology, and gynaecological oncology.
