Frank Gray is a writer, craftsman, and lifelong explorer of the subtle interplay between love, trust, and human connection.

His work lives where the emotional and the sensual meet — grounded and lyrical at once — and spends its time dismantling the cultural barriers still built around nurture, touch, and desire.

His first book, NURturing deSirE: A Playful Guide to Adult Nursing Relationships, speaks to the courage it takes to love with both tenderness and honesty. The Memory of Milk: Origin Molecules, Intimacy, and the Biology of Return goes looking for the biology beneath that tenderness: the origin molecules that wrote the body’s first language, and the rituals and relationships that can call a nervous system home.

Away from the page he is a metal sculptor, a gardener, and a musician, and treats making things as a spiritual practice rather than a pastime. He lives in the Pacific Northwest with his wife of three decades, where the slower rhythm of the countryside shapes the way he writes.
