Stephen Wilde is a British business leader, entrepreneur, consultant, and author with deep roots in manufacturing, aerospace, and defence. Born in Port Stanley, Falkland Islands, in 1961, he has spent more than four decades transforming businesses, developing people, and leading award-winning teams.
After serving as Managing Director of Southbourne Rubber for over a decade, Stephen now works as a business consultant and Non-Executive Director, helping organisations achieve sustainable growth and operational excellence.
Alongside his business career, Stephen has developed a passion for storytelling. His writing blends humour, history, and personal reflection, from the dry British wit of Sod's Law to the nostalgic Falkland Islands memoir 1961. Drawing on a lifetime of observation, adventure, and occasionally spectacular bad luck, his books celebrate the humour, resilience, and humanity found in everyday life.
