Norm Katz

Norm Katz is a lifelong seeker. A dedicated sailor, lifeguard, surfer, scuba diver, and open-water swimmer, he has spent much of his life in, on, or under the water. When he’s not at sea, you might find him skiing down mountains, tackling rugged trails on his gravel bike, or pushing his limits as a triathlete.

He shares his journey with his wife, Kathy—Captain of Endless Summer—and their two feline crew mates, Jett & Rosie. Their current adventure aboard Endless Summer has them sailing through the Caribbean, with sights set on South America, the South Pacific, and Europe.

Norm is also a proud father to his brilliant and beautiful daughter, Lauren, a Tri Delta at the University of Alabama. Before embracing the cruising life, he spent over four decades in business, serving in executive sales leadership and as the COO and co-founder of a healthcare information technology firm. He holds an M.B.A. from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business and a B.A. in Economics from Rutgers University.
