Kathy Lampert is a proud Mom of 2 kids. While they're a bit older now, the time when they were very young was SO sweet.

This book was a passion project about a TERRIBLY shy little girl who really didn't want to go to school. It is almost entirely biographical and created because I needed a book to help her. I truly love the feedback from other parents saying how much this book helped their child too. Although wildly pink - whether you're reading this to a boy or girl, doesn't matter. The message is clear: Sophie was scared and sad at the start of the day, and not scared OR sad at the end of the day! Keeping it simple is the magic I was looking for - and with the help of wonderful illustrator Melissa Bailey - I am deeply proud of this book and grateful when you share it with your little loved ones.

Currently living in Austin Texas, Kathy lived her entire adult life in the US, but is proud to also be Canadian, and also a mom to 2 cats and a dog.
