I was born in Arizona and lived there with my mom until I was 3. We then moved to Oregon until I was in 8th grade. We lived in a small town about an hour outside of Portland. My family then moved to North Idaho where I finished school. During High School I went to a military academy and then moved back to Portland, Oregon because my Grandpa had became ill with Alzheimer’s Disease. I've worked in sales and marketing, network marketing, and social media marketing while helping my grandma on the farm with my Grandpa. My Grandpa passed away during Covid in 2019, which was a terrible time for everyone in the country but even worse for people who lost loved ones. I still reside in Portland, Oregon helping out my Grandma on the farm and I’d love to move to Arizona or maybe to Wyoming where my parents currently live. I love science and history, especially WWII history, and reading about space and time. I guess you could consider me a little nerdy. I love camping, woodworking, gardening, rock-climbing, cooking, and crabbing. I started making my own tobacco pipes, I enjoy documentaries and spend quite a bit of time on my computer. I love to travel, although I haven’t traveled much recently. My favorites stories of all time were about Spot and Kipper and I loved Little Critter. Which were great stories! My favorite Authors were Mercer Mayer, Eric Hill, Eric Carle, and Dr. Seuss. I am sure there are tons more, and they might have been your favorites too! At first I was interested in writing a cookbook, I have a few social media pages that I run on recipes and cooking, and healthy eating habits but then my mind went on a little journey and I thought about a story for my first book, I quickly realized I could wrap a little bit of cooking into it as well. My idea just grew larger and larger so with my love of traveling and history, it slowly just all came together. I have tons of ideas to continue the series and I am super excited to start working on them in the future. I believe I am onto countless adventures, timeless recipes, and my biggest hope it that my books can bring families together, in the kitchen making a fun meal, or just starting a conversation about Historical places. My goal is to captivate the kids and the parents with fun and exciting stories which also include interactive pages that bring the family together on multiple levels of fun and enjoyment!
