Defne Jule Mutlu

Defne Jule Mutlu is a 23-year-old poet and author. Her interest in philosophy and religion, as well as her involvement with her ancestral Turkish culture, have shaped her work. As an English literature student, she seeks to combine English literary styles such as blank verse drama with historical and religious themes situated in a Turkish context, inviting the reader to reflect on the human experience through poetry. 'THE DERVISH' is her debut play.
