Bob Boden

Emmy nominee Bob Boden’s career in all forms of non-fiction and unscripted/alternative television programming has included senior management and production functions for a variety of television studios, networks and production companies. He is frequently acknowledged as an industry leader in the game and reality genres. He has been a creator, executive producer, showrunner, writer and consultant on over 100 television series and specials for primetime, daytime, late night and children’s programming. He has helped launch three television networks and has been an executive in broadcast, cable and syndication, including CBS, ABC, Paramount, FOX, GSN, and Disney.

Bob (a.k.a. TV BOB) currently is an Executive Producer on the syndicated comedy celebrity TV Game Show "Funny You Should Ask," and also serves as Executive Vice President, Production and Development for Allen Media Group/Entertainment Studios. He was recently profiled in The Washington Post. He delivered a TEDx talk entitled "What Game Shows Teach You About Life."

Bob is on the Board of Directors of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, and spent 13 years on the Board of Governors of the Television Academy. He is also co-founder of the National Archives of Game Show History at the Strong National Museum of Play in Rochester, New York. The permanent exhibit will open in 2027.

He has a Masters Degree in Negotiation, Conflict Resolution and Peacebuilding from Cal State Dominguez Hills and a BA in Theatre Arts from UCLA. His academic work includes Syracuse University, Cal State Los Angeles and UCLA. A native of New York, he currently lives with his family in Los Angeles.
