Hailing from Oxford, Mississippi, Shakethia's impressive academic credentials include a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Mississippi State University and an MBA from Belhaven University.

Shakethia's dual passions for numbers and highlighting the resilience of individuals with disabilities drive her daily life. When not immersed in finance or writing, she enjoys teaching Sunday School, word search puzzles, shopping, and cherishing time with loved ones.

An active member of the Oxford Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and a devoted member of Union Hill MB Church, Shakethia embodies the spirit of service and leadership.
