Meredith Davison Jr.

Meredith Davison, Jr.’s parents and grandparents instilled many life principles in him and his two siblings throughout their childhood. These principles, along with others from his wife Denise, were passed down to their six children, all of whom were homeschooled.

The idea for The Principal's Principles is to preserve these principles in written form, using rhyme and homophones as a fun way to teach them to children, while helping to enlarge their vocabulary.

Merry Christmas, Mary! is the second book by Meredith Davison, Jr., an author who delights in using rhymes and homophones to share timeless life lessons and Biblical truths with children— and the grown-ups who read with them. His first book, the award-winning The Principal’s Principles, introduced readers to this fun, thoughtful style of storytelling.

As the father of six and grandfather of thirteen, Meredith counts it a privilege to share these insights with the next generation in ways that are both meaningful and memorable. He and his wife, Denise, live near Charlotte, North Carolina, where they enjoy traveling, hiking to waterfalls, and biking together along the rails-to-trails system.
