Born into an illustrious lineage of Tantric masters from Banaras, her spiritual foundations were established from childhood, steeped in the ancient wisdom of her ancestors.

Her exceptional spiritual qualifications stem from direct initiations by some of the greatest Tantric masters of modern times. She received her Sri Vidya initiation from Param Pujya Dattatreyanandanath Ji, a direct disciple of the revered Karpratri Ji Maharaj. Her father, the renowned Swami Divya Chetanand Ji, was among the most sought-after Tantrik Gurus of his time and a devoted student of both the legendary Dr. Narayan Dutt Shrimali (Paramhans Swami Nikhileshwaranand Ji) and Baba Bhootnath Ji, one of the foremost Kamakhya devotees of the modern era. Baba Bhootnath Ji—a figure to Kamakhya what Ramkrishna Paramhans is to Kali, representing the highest embodiment of devotional mastery in this sacred tradition.

Her sadhana journey is remarkably comprehensive, encompassing mastery of all Ten Mahavidyas and all major Satvik Tantric traditions. Beyond Tantra, she has delved deeply into Kriya Yoga and Buddhist practices, ultimately finding her spiritual home in Rasopasana. This diverse spiritual foundation allows her to present ancient wisdom with rare depth and authenticity, following the pure Samyachaar tradition of Sri Vidya propagated by Adi Guru Shankracharya that emphasizes purity, devotion, and righteousness.

Though a traditional spiritual teacher, Guru Maa is thoroughly modern in her approach and education. After completing her Bachelor’s in Engineering and MBA from Mumbai University, she excelled in the corporate world before fully embracing her spiritual calling. Her scholarly dedication earned her a gold medal in Sanskrit from Kavi Kulguru Kalidas Sanskrit University, enabling her to study and interpret sacred texts directly from their original sources—including the Shreemad Bhagwat, Bhagavad Gita, Tripura Rahasya, Lalita Sahasranama, and numerous others.

Today, Guru Maa leads a balanced life in the United States with her husband, a successful entrepreneur, and their two children. This harmonious integration of profound spiritual practice with family life and professional background makes her teachings particularly accessible to contemporary seekers. She returns to India annually for several months to conduct shivirs, meet students, and share the timeless wisdom she has mastered through decades of rigorous sadhana.
