Stephan Hans Rainer Eich

Stephan Eich is a graduate engineer (FH), freelance architect (AK Berlin), mediator (University of Potsdam) and expert witness for damage to buildings. He has headed the nationwide office SCHÄDEN AN GEBÄUDEN since 2000. His work combines technical precision, language and attitude - both in expertises and in literature.

As a specialist author, he is responsible for books such as "Drones - Operation, Law, Technology" (2nd edition, 2025) and "Between Doubt and Clarity" (2025). The latter develops a professional inspection approach: how doubt arises, how dubious facts are consolidated or resolved, how language shapes decisions and how attitude, psychology and ethics interact in the inspection context. Focus: structured case analysis, comprehensible reasoning, responsibility instead of automatism.

As a novelist, he published the LENA trilogy (LENA+, LENA++, LENA+++) in 2025, which is already highly regarded and discussed in (still) small circles: a quiet mind thriller beyond classic action - about power, media, AI and the inner freedom to abandon roles. At the centre: agent Lena Vogt between mission, pattern, imprint and autonomy.

Eich started out as a bricklayer, studied architecture in Koblenz and Berlin, has been a freelance architect (AKB) since 1994 and has worked as an expert since 1999. He is a trained mediator (University of Potsdam).

Hobby: He was a TV expert on DMAX for six years and initiated the FREE GLIDE LEAGUE in model gliding in 2024. He has been involved in model flying since 1974 and has been gliding in parallel to this hobby (20 years); 25 years of regatta sailing at the Potsdam Yacht Club in Berlin.
