Dave Crawford is a husband, worker, analyst, author, and musician in that order. Hailing from western New York, Dave holds a BA in Anthropology from SUNY Geneseo. His career began as a field archaeologist, where he developed a deep appreciation for historic and prehistoric data as well as it's distribution on the landscape. Over time, he transitioned into the realm of geospatial data science, where he combines his analytical skills with his passion for technology.
With a keen interest in geospatial Python, Dave has dedicated himself to exploring the intersection of geography and programming. He is the author of "Esri's Advanced Guide to Python in ArcGIS," a comprehensive resource for those looking to enhance their skills in geospatial analysis. When he’s not immersed in data or writing, Dave enjoys making music, further enriching his multifaceted life.
