Lisa Mueller

Lisa Mueller is a retired Special Education educator. She understands the importance of reading to children, and her goal is to write entertaining books that appeal to children and their caregivers. Dot's Spots is her debut children's book. When not writing, Lisa enjoys reading and spending time with her family. Lisa is a grandma of 2 grandsons.

Dot's Spots was selected as the winner of the 2025 PenCraft Seasonal Book Award Summer Competition in the Children-Animals Books Genre. Dot's Spots is also a winner of the Ella's Way Gold book award for books that promote acceptance, kindness, inclusion, and diversity.

Jasper the Brave is her second book, and was released on January 8, 2026. It was also a winner of the Ella's Way Gold book award. Jasper was recently selected as a winner of the Purple Dragonfly book award in the Animals category.

Lisa Mueller is published with Solander Press. She recently became a Collaborative Author for Ella's Way.
