Dear Reader

I was raised in Ann Arbor, where the University of Michigan was everything. I can remember parking cars in our front lawn for football games. You could hear the band practice from miles away. My first apartment was in the shadow of their monstrous stadium.

My wife Kitty and I are both now retired teachers, living near the Texas gulf coast. We have three children and four grandchildren, all of them perfect in their own way.
