David McCann

David McCann lives in Brisbane, Queensland, with his wife and son. 20 years of nursing experience and a number of creative pursuits have lead him to write his debut novel.

“I have been inspired by the stories of Terry Goodkind and Raymond Feist with their large-scale worlds and stories that are relatable yet epic in their fantasy.”

Both these writers inspired his writing and the debut novel “In the Depths of a Man’s Mind” is a wonderful homage to this way of writing. He has also created a new way of thinking about magic. His unique take on human biology and the use of vibration has given rise to a new way of magic being used. David has created characters that as a reader you are drawn too, with high and lows, challenges and sacrifice and the emotions that come with these moments.
