I was born in California into a life marked by poverty, resilience, and quiet hope. Raised without a father and surrounded by hand-me-downs, food stamps, and bread lines, I found joy in simple things—body surfing at the beach, playing soccer in neighborhood leagues, and imagining heaven through the pages of a Bible that sat untouched in the front room.
Though my childhood was filled with challenges, it was also rich with moments of peace and wonder. As I grew older, life took darker turns—addiction, homelessness, and the loss of the spiritual presence I once felt so deeply. But everything changed the day I met an angel on the streets. That encounter became the turning point of my life, igniting a journey of healing, faith, and transformation.
In my memoirs, I share forty years of lived experiences—before and after that divine meeting. My story is a testimony to the power of grace, the endurance of the human spirit, and the presence of God in both suffering and redemption. Today, I write to inspire others to reflect on their own stories, embrace hope, and discover the sacred within the everyday.
