Mizzz Foster

Mizzz Foster is a science teacher, artist, and nature enthusiast who finds inspiration in the beauty of the world around her. With over 20 years of experience teaching high school science, she loves sharing her passion for animals, plants, and diverse ecosystems with both students and readers.

Mizzz Foster earned a bachelor’s degree in Art and Biology from the University of Texas at El Paso and a master’s degree in Multidisciplinary Studies in Teaching. When she’s not in the classroom, she enjoys hiking, drawing, coloring, and illustrating—blending her love of science and art to create engaging educational materials.

Her work brings science to life through detailed illustrations and thoughtfully crafted content, designed to make learning fun, interactive, and visually inspiring. Whether she’s creating coloring books, science resources, or nature-inspired artwork, Melanie hopes to spark curiosity and a deeper appreciation for the natural world in everyone who explores her creations.
