Adam Howard

Adam Howard is a husband, father, Worship Pastor, songwriter, speaker, author, and imperfect Christ follower—and he’s loving every minute of it. Born and raised in Upstate South Carolina, Adam grew up in the Church of God of Prophecy, where he first discovered his passion for music and ministry. That Pentecostal foundation shaped both his worship style and pastoral heart, creating deep roots in Spirit-led ministry that still influence him today.

Adam has served in churches across South Carolina and Georgia. Since 2016, he has called Savannah, Georgia, home, where he serves as the Worship Pastor at First Baptist Church of the Islands. For his contributions to church music and worship across multiple denominations, Adam was awarded an honorary Doctorate of Sacred Music in 2023. His ministry has always been focused on building bridges—across denominations, churches, styles, generations, and backgrounds—all for the glory of God.

When he’s not writing or leading worship, you’ll find him spending time with his wife, Marcia, and their two children, Ben and Lilli, embracing the chaos of family life on the beautiful barrier islands of Georgia. Their little long-haired dachshund, Carter, usually isn’t far behind.
