Michael Johnson

About the Author

Michael M. Johnson is a multi-genre author who writes across fantasy, science fiction, historical fiction, and horror. He is the co-author of the Gods of Time Saga alongside J.C. Hidalgo, blending mythology, history, and imagination into stories about gods, legends, and the people caught between them.

Outside of the saga, Michael writes short fiction with a particular love for darker, character-driven stories. His work often explores horror, psychology, grief, relationships, and those moments when ordinary people find themselves in situations that are anything but ordinary.

When he isn't writing, Michael is usually spending time with his family, training in the gym, reading, watching movies, or getting far too invested in American football. He also travels at sloth speed. Slow and not very far. Okay, not at all.

Instead, he travels through research, constantly falling down rabbit holes involving different cultures, religions, mythology, and history. Most of the time, that research eventually finds its way into a story.
