Robert J. Binney

Fun fact about New Jersey – once you turn 18, they can’t make you stay. It’s the law. (You have to pay a toll on your way out, but it’s only a few bucks. It’s totally worth it.) Screenwriter Robert J. Binney escaped the Garden State for Atlanta, where he met and married the love of his life. They have also lived in Seattle, Coastal Oregon, Philadelphia, and Sydney before returning to Seattle. He is a former management consultant and titan of industry.

Binney is a member of the Northwest Screenwriters Guild and the Mystery Writers of America. He holds an MBA from Emory University and an MFA from UC Riverside.

His essays have appeared in the Los Angeles Times, Kelp Journal, Atwood Music Magazine, the Lowestoft Chronicle, and MI6 Confidential.
