Mr Phil Woods

Phil Woods had previously released two comedy books and one children’s book. The two comedy books are Beat about the Bush - the funny side of language and The Daily Skid - Volume 1 The best bits. The children’s book was Grump Goes Shopping all written with his co-author Steve Smith, and pictures in Grump Goes Shopping by Gary Drew.

Phil has worked previously in the motorsport industry as editor of two magazines, Podium Magazine and Pit Lane Reporter Magazine. He has also written extensively for Paddock Magazine, and being a guest editor for them too. Phil has written a lot about Lewis Hamilton over the years and is therefore best placed to write about Lewis’s phenomenal career in Formula One.

The Racing Biography of Lewis Hamilton has been in the works for several years, starting during the Covid years and finishing January 2025. This book covers Lewis’s rise from karting to becoming a seven time world champion.

Phil Woods has three children Annalise who is 30 yrs old, Callum is 15 and Rebecca who is 11.
