Michael Huth

Michael Huth has been a professor of logistics at the Department of Business at Fulda University of Applied Sciences since 2006 and is the scientific director of the "HFD@HOLM" research network. His research focuses on supply chain risk management, process management, digitization and sustainability in supply chains.

Professor Huth was Vice Dean from 2009-2011 and Dean of the Faculty of Business from 2011-2014. He has also spent time as a visiting professor in Australia, the USA and South Africa as well as teaching assignments in the Czech Republic, Turkey, Jordan and Poland. Professor Huth studied business administration at Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main and at Southampton University (UK). After working as a research assistant at Goethe University, he initially worked as an independent management consultant and founded a consultancy firm in 2003, specializing in logistics and risk management, before moving into academia in 2006.
